let’s fall in love

a mere suggestion

{ begin reading this post with some music on by clicking here }

a mere second suggestion

{ listen to it in a low volume as if it were coming from the other room, you’ll get my point while reading }

Takes you away, doesn’t it ?

that’s how It feels for me every time I come across wonderful people ; people so creative and so in love with what they do … and with each other ; wondering what is the case ? Come along …

Quintessential love

love that makes your heart race and your cheeks burn and takes your soul’s creative cords to sing and yes “enter a new high score”

you’ve met this whole special person and thought will I ever feel more complete or justified ?

thing is, with such love you are to find out it’s so much more than dreamy nights and holding hands.. it’s a romance, turn growth, turn friendship, turn trust, turn build, turn work together, turn move into a 15-square-meter apartment (for 3 years), turn strong, turn fulfill your dream, turn a driven-by-pure-faith decision to do one thing good

Is there really such a “thing” ? Who are these people?

To answer your first question, yes there is. You see, my darling purist-reader, and you’ll probably agree with me on this one, inside each one of us is a tremendously healing, self-sustained will to give in to love and commit to loving other people against all odds. And when I say odds I mean all this crazy shit we are taught to disrespect out of fear and doubt. There are indeed perfect loves. And by perfect I mean so utterly imperfect that require a life-time of mutual effort and hard work, but always, ALWAYS, will feel good, and tender and just. Sometimes these loves are grandparents, parents and children, friends, lovers, pets, colleagues, teammates and of course couples like , to answer your second question, Phil & Lui.

a hint

{ She loves sleeping under the sky while He could vacuum clean every day … oh no … I won’t betray it all, you’ll have such a great time reading more about Phil & Lui here }

You little uncle pervy; I can’t believe you haven’t even finished reading the post and you’ve clicked  on the previous link  hoping to jump off and learn all about them, so nosy of you, are you Greek ? …well I am… so I’ll let you  get away with it…. ha!

BUT

The juice of life is not in peeping it’s in… emotions :

Connectivity, inspiration and emotion in everything is what lies behind Phil & Lui ‘s brand.

Going places; exploring the splendors of each culture; bonding with people and embracing what’s good and true in nature; tasting the food that’s good for the soul,  the fresh and the raw scents the baked, the sweet, the sour, the hot and the salty (yes even the bitter); wandering off or keeping the pace; laughing; loving;  creating and savoring every fucking bit of it, having a crush on the good-with-the-bad and the odd-with-the-majestic, if that isn’t juice I don’t know what is.

And now something for you, you skeptical fellow..

Emotions are fine, but really, isn’t that all a mighty card into one’s sleeve, you almost had me with the love thing … my apparel is made up of raw materials, it’s fibers man…

UH-UH-UH we have ourselves a neggator (negation-gladiator) – do not look this up, I make up words, deal with it.

The answer is noooo !!! fibers aren’t always the same darling neggator. In this meticulous and painstaking journey called “invention” (some others may refer to it as craftsmanship) there are the bad, the ugly and the good fibers. Just like with love (sorry but you had it coming) the design, the creation and the manufacturing of apparel need to worth your while. Sustainability is elemental. Consciousness is key. And just like with opening up to a person, your efforts contribute to what will be “a better place”.  Given my origin, I am probably well equipped to geek you up that organic comes from the Greek /organikos/ which means natural, innate, unaffected, biological, without a joker or a wild card, hell that’s exactly the same as love isn’t it ?

So yes, emotion plays a great part in the way one dresses. Phil & Lui, won me over, for that too.

The fact that Ben Dahlhaus is the face of their new campaign is a bonus (you have spent quite some time staring, admit it … excuse our manners mister Dahlhaus, we hope a sin confessed is no longer a sin).

I confess it , I’m smitten. How do I get my Phil & Lui ?

Click here to shop the FJODOR. To me, it is the one piece you won’t be going anyplace without this summer. IT’S REVERSIBLE (two in one, yayyyyy),  made of organic cotton & denim (double happiness once again) HIS & HERS (good things happen in twos… well fours if you count the reversible – so yin and yang it blows my mind).

You’ve been there, you ‘ve got the t-shirt (which is more that just a simple t-shirt) and now you need more, don’t you ? I do too !!!! I’m going to be a very patient and good gal, because I can hardly wait to get their amazing denim pieces arriving pretty soon. Stay tuned for my future post, where I’ll be wearing them and be soooo merry (weeeeeeeeee!!!!)

One more thing before I go darlings

SENSE THE THINGS THAT AREN’T OBVIOUS AT FIRST SIGHT

which means …  Remember to remember

The way we work our way into identifying what is our resolution target, our purpose in this life is what creates this wondrous energy … this … passion, the material that builds dreams, brings us together, makes us wake up in the morning and  wish to keep going.  Remember to let go of all negations (you too shy neggator), open up, take all roads possible, listen to what music is coming from the other room (yes I was being metaphorical, now you know), and decide to do one thing good … LOVE!
